We’ll laugh, we’ll cry, we’ll do all the wedding things. The dress code is formal. So guys, wear something nice. Girls, don’t you dare wear white.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17
NÜ TULUM

We’ll follow a mariachi band to an open bar. Yep. It’s an open bar. Pretty sweet, huh?

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17
NÜ TULUM
6:00PM - 11:00PM

Dinner will be served family style.
Then we’ll dance like nobody’s watching.
Not even the photographers who will be taking photos of us the whole time.

Travel

Get your passports ready!

For international travel, you’re gonna need a valid passport that doesn’t expire for at least six months after January 2026.

Two Airport Options

Aeropuerto Internacional de Tulum Felipe Carrillo Puerto (50 minute drive to Zorba)
OR
Cancun International Airport (~2 hour drive to Zorba)

Transportation

Hotel Shuttles are recommended for getting to/from the airport. The shuttles are like private taxis, so just show them where you’re staying and one of their drivers will take you right to your hotel. (We used a company called Jungle Shuttle and they were great.)

You can take a taxi as well, but we recommend negotiating a price before getting into a taxi. Please note, there is no Uber in Tulum.

You are welcome to contact our wedding planner for assistance in booking transportation (fernanda@tailormadedreams.com.mx).

Weather

The average temperature in January ranges from 75°F to 82°F, so bring your flippy floppies! Tulum has a tropical climate, so there’s always a chance of a little rain shower here and there. But let’s not talk about that right now. Let’s talk about flippy floppies!

Hotels

Tulum has all kinds of hotels and AirBnBs in the same area as our wedding venue (Zorba Tulum) which is located here.

Here are a few of the top hotel recommendations from our wedding planner.

FAQ

  • The dress code for the Wedding is formal — yes to suits and dresses, no to jeans or t-shirts.

The dress code for the Welcome Party is “resort chic,” which basically means wear something fun and cute and fashion-forward. Think White Lotus meets Hawaiian Luau meets Trevor and Sonja’s Welcome Party on the Beach.

  • We love kids (they ARE the future), but our wedding will be a no-kid wedding. We hope you take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us!

If you do need babysitting services, contact our wedding planner (fernanda@tailormadedreams.com.mx) and she’ll help you out.

  • The Reception at NÜ is only a 2 minute walk from our Ceremony at Zorba. After the Ceremony, we’ll all walk together to begin our Cocktail Hour, which is also at NÜ.

  • We’re not doing a traditional Wedding Registry because we live in a tiny Brooklyn apartment. Instead, we’ve set up a Honeymoon Fund that you can contribute to if you want to help send us on our dream honeymoon in Tanzania.
